World Immunization Week highlights the important role vaccines play in protecting health at every stage of life.
Vaccines are one of the most effective ways to prevent serious illness, reduce complications, and protect vulnerable populations. They not only protect individuals, but also help safeguard entire communities by reducing the spread of disease.
Staying up to date on recommended vaccines supports long-term health, whether preparing for school, planning for a family, or maintaining health as we age.
At Monadnock Community Hospital, we encourage patients to talk with their provider about which vaccines are right for them.

Please join us in celebrating our April Traveling Trophy recipient, the Laboratory team.

This recognition, led by our Employee Enrichment Committee, highlights the teamwork and dedication that make a difference every day. The Laboratory team was recognized not only for their daily impact, but also for their incredible work during their recent move and renovations, standing up operations quickly while keeping patient care front and center.

Colleagues and patients shared how the team created a calm, supportive experience and worked together seamlessly during a time of change. Their focus, professionalism, and compassion truly reflect what it means to care for our community.

Congratulations to the Laboratory team on this well-deserved recognition.

One person’s decision can save many lives.
April is Donate Life Month, a time to recognize the life-saving impact of organ, eye, and tissue donation. More than 100,000 people in the United States are currently waiting for a transplant that could save their lives.
One donor has the potential to save and heal more than 75 lives through organ and tissue donation. Learning the facts and talking with your family about your wishes can help ensure that more people receive the gift of life. https://bit.ly/donate-life-mch
Have you talked with your family about your wishes?

On April 21, we had the honor of celebrating something truly special, our volunteers.

At our Annual Volunteer Luncheon, we came together to recognize the people who give their time, compassion, and energy to support our patients, families, and staff every day. This year’s theme, “You are the heartbeat of our community,” was felt in every detail, from the handwritten hearts lining our halls to the conversations shared around each table.

Volunteers enjoyed a wonderful lunch from the Monadnock Country Club, raffles with thoughtful gifts from MCH staff, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere filled with music and connection.

Your impact reaches far beyond what can be measured. Thank you for being part of our hospital family.
