Kayla Bishop is our Activity Assistant of 2 years! Her best friend inspired her to become an activity assistant, along with her deep love for helping others in ways they may not always be able to help themselves. The most rewarding part of her job is being a person the residents trust and feel comfortable approaching—someone they can share things with that they may not feel comfortable sharing with others. She loves helping them enjoy their time, bringing a little extra joy to their days, and of course, spoiling them with treats whenever she can. One of her most memorable moments was the first time she sang for them during karaoke. She truly believes it helped build their confidence to take the microphone more often. Seeing their smiles and hearing their laughter—especially when she gets a little goofy with certain songs—brings so much joy to her day and reminds her why she loves what she does.

Brianna is our Activities Assistant, she's been a part of the Pheasant Wood team for 2 years now! She was inspired to become an activity professional because she wants to make a meaningful impact in people's lives.
She finds the most rewarding part of the job helping residents stay active, connected, and engaged. It brings her a sense of purpose, and she enjoys being someone they can look forward to seeing each day.
She especially cherishes the moments spent with residents outdoors during the summer, engaging in water games and social activities. The genuine smiles and happiness they expressed while enjoying the warm air makes these experiences unforgettable.
