The End 68 Hours of Hunger program serves Peterborough and surrounding towns providing weekend food to children facing food insecurity between Friday lunch and Monday breakfast (68 hours).

RiverMead residents volunteered assembling bags of food and other necessities to help students head into the weekend with a little more support and a lot more care. Actions add up. And we are proud to stand with our neighbors.

On December 1st 1995, RiverMead welcomed its first residents. ✨

Three decades later that milestone provided the perfect backdrop for an elegant anniversary reception.

Residents were invited to wear pearls, the traditional 30th anniversary symbol of peace and purity. They spent a warm afternoon reflecting on the past and looking ahead to the continued strength and vibrancy of the community.

Around this time thirty years ago, construction teams were putting the finishing touches on RiverMead. In just a few short weeks, on December 1, 1995 the community would welcome its first residents.
