Today was a great reminder of what CEDA truly stands for: Prevention Through Connections.
Walking into classrooms and talking with students is about so much more than statistics or information about drugs and alcohol. Itโs about showing up. Itโs about listening. Itโs about breaking stigma and creating space for honest conversations.
We want our students to know: There is no shame in having a loved one who is struggling. There is no shame in asking for help. And there is strength in choosing healthy, life-giving decisions.
CEDA exists because people in Pike County care enough to lean in instead of looking away. When community members pour into our youth, they are planting seeds of prevention, resilience, and hope.
Prevention is not just a program โ itโs relationships. Itโs connection. Itโs unity in community.
Thank you to everyone who continues to invest time, energy, and heart into this mission. Our kids deserve adults who show up, speak truth, and remind them they matter.
