As we recognize HIP Week from April 20–24, I invite everyone to join in celebrating this year’s theme: Celebrating the Guardians of Health Information. Our Health Information Management team plays a vital role in ensuring that the information we rely on every day is accurate, secure, and accessible. Although much of their work happens behind the scenes, their impact is felt across every department. This year has brought many changes and challenges for our organization, yet our HIM team continues to demonstrate exceptional collaboration, resilience, accuracy, customer service, and adaptability. Please take a moment this week to thank and acknowledge our outstanding HIM team of four. Their specialized work within the Quality Department and their steadfast commitment to protecting health information make them true stewards and guardians of our organization.
