As we recognize Recovery Month, we’re reminded that seeking help is a sign of strength. Whether through inpatient, outpatient, or MAT services, recovery is possible and support is available. 💜

In honor of National Recreation Therapy Week, we want to highlight our team. Meet Kayla and Sam who have been a team for the past two years and have a passion for helping others. Something that they want everyone to know about recreational therapy is that it is more than just fun. When others see a kickball game, our therapists see anger management skills, team building and collaboration. They encourage everyone to find positive hobbies as one way to handle everything life can throw at us.
We want to say a huge thank you to Kayla and Sam for all of their hard work!

Last week, we honored our First Responders during First Responders Wellness Week. We delivered bags of snacks coupled with a heartfelt letter from Michael Triggs, Group CEO; Dr. Simon, Medical Director; and Dr. Heard, Military/First Responder Program Director.
Moreover, we had the opportunity to share information on our First Responders Program, which offers a separate dedicated private entrance for inpatient care and in-person and virtual options for outpatient care.
Our mission is to restore the mental well-being of First Responders and family members to the highest level of functioning, optimizing mission resilience and performance.
If you want to visit our campus and meet our team, please do not hesitate to contact our Director of Business Development, LeMar Taliaferro, directly at lemar.taliaferro@uhsinc.com.
