We are a HealthCare Professionals Registry (Staffing Agency) & Community Wellness Group. We leave a mark in every working relationship, saying we cared!

The Special Care Unit is focused on providing high-quality companion and homemaker care services, ensuring customer satisfaction. We will do everything we can to meet your expectations! Overall, we provide Companion & Homemaker care services that are paid for by business contracts, private insurance companies or other means to clients- in their homes or places of residence, such as: assisted living facility or nursing homes. The Special Care Unit also acts as a Nurse Registry, providing Health Care staff in schools, or other business entities, on temporary or school year basis. Our contract nurses, direct care workers and homemaker companions are hired to complete all services. In addition, services are, but not limited to: household chores that include housekeeping, cooking, shopping assistance, laundry, and other routine household activities. We also, accompany Clients on outings and Doctor appointments.

I am incredibly grateful to announce that we’ve reached 40% of our Kiva campaign goal! Let's keep pushing to make the goal of 100% Funded. Your support has brought us one step closer to growing The Special Care Unit and increasing the impact we make in our community.

I’m also honored to share that today we started working with NextUp to provide our "Pathways to Care: Youth Explorers" Program " to middle and high school students. The NextUp program is an initiative that provides out-of-school time enrichment and support to middle and high school students in Richmond, Virginia. It partners with local schools, community organizations, and service providers to offer high-quality programs designed to help youth develop new skills, build confidence, and explore potential career paths.
