I seek to help others move their bodies and quiet their minds through the practice of yoga. Yoga has been a part of my life for over 19 years. Difficult life circumstances led me to search for a way to acceptance, as well as ways to manage stress as I learned to navigate my new normal. After my first beginnerโs class I was hooked, knowing I had found what I needed. I am very grateful for having found yoga and consider it to be โmy sanity.โ After practicing many styles and experiencing the transformative benefits, I felt the desire to share with others. I earned my RYT-200 in January 2018 at Ahh Yoga, Springfield, IL and have been teaching there since. My wish is to inspire others to move their bodies in ways that they enjoy to live a longer, healthier and happier life. Yoga comes in many styles to suit different fitness levels and needs, but the key is to keep moving! My style is traditional, with a focus on breath and movement that suits the individual practitioner. I love to combine a spirit of playfulness and a dose of inspiration in my sequences to help you learn about your body and mind with no judgment. Come as you are, learn who you are and step off the mat feeling refreshed, nourished and balanced.
