Biofield Tuning is a non-invasive sound therapy developed by Eileen McKusick that uses tuning forks to detect and correct "dissonance" or blockages in the electromagnetic field surrounding the body. By applying specific vibrational frequencies, it aims to reduce stress, anxiety, and physical pain, promoting a state of calm and energetic balance.

Key Aspects of Biofield Tuning:

Practitioners scan the body's energy field (biofield) with activated tuning forks, listening for changes in sound (overtones/undertones) that indicate areas of tension or emotional, physical, or energetic resistance.

The tuning forks are then played repetitively in these areas of tense blocked energy until the fork rings at a neutral midtone. This is a sign that the energy has been neautalized/harmonized and can now flow freely through your field.

This freeing of dense and blocked energy creates a sense of lightness and balanced flow through all systems of the body, mind and soul.

Sound healing as a detox involves using resonant vibrations from instruments (like gongs, bowls, tuning forks) or voice to clear energetic blockages, stimulate circulation, calm the nervous system, and release trapped emotions, essentially "vibrating" the body back into balance, promoting deep relaxation and aiding the physical and emotional release of stored toxins and stress. It works by matching or restoring the body's natural frequencies, helping to shift from stress (low frequency) to harmony (higher frequency).
