Meet Dr. Host, Licensed Acupuncturist and Board Certiifed Family Physician!

We are excited to have Dr. Host working out of our office, providing Acupuncture services! She was trained in acupuncture in 2000 through the Helms Medical Institute and has been in successful practice for over fifteen years. Dr. Host has expertise in Scalp Acupuncture, Percutaneous Nerve Stimulation, Five Energy Balancing, and Meridian Channel Flow.

She maintains her membership in the American Academy of Medical Acupuncture and completes regular training classes.

Graduate of Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine (NEOUCOM), 1992
Post graduate residency training at WW Knight Family Practice/The Toledo Hospital graduated 1995
Independent solo practice since 2000 (previously Affiliated with Mercy Medical Group

We are excited to welcome Cindy, Licensed Massage Therapist to EMC2!

Cindy brings over 12 years of experience as a licensed massage therapist, with a background in therapeutic, deep tissue, and injury recovery work. She combines extensive hands-on expertise with a deep understanding of how the body functions, helping patients relieve pain, restore mobility and support long term wellness.

Cindy is passionate about working alongside chiropractic care to provide comprehensive, personalized treatment for each patient. When not at work, Cindy enjoying being outside with her family, photography and exploring Northern Michigan.

We are excited to welcome our newest member, Tara! She will be taking over as our front desk manager. Outside of work, she shares life’s best moments with her boyfriend, DeJuan, their lively Jack Russell Terrier named Cannoli, and their cat, Kevin — who keeps everyone on their toes. She enjoys playing chess in her spare time and loves the cozy charm of northern Michigan during the fall.

Tara is the first friendly face you’ll see and the key to your smooth and stress-free visit. she will oversee the daily flow of the office—welcoming patients, managing appointments, handling check-ins and check-outs, verifying insurance, and ensuring all administrative tasks are completed with care and precision. With a strong focus on hospitality, organization, and efficiency, Tara helps create a positive and professional environment where healing and wellness come first.

We are thankful she has joined our little community and please help us welcome her!
