The Victim Service Unit was designed to be a helping hand for the Police, Fire Department, Allied EMS and other Medical Personnel. Providing immediate comfort and help to the victims. Making referrals to appropiate agencies and services for the various needs of the victim. Also serving as a go between for the victims, their families, officals, and emergency service providers. This frees up the emergency personnel to do their jobs without leaving the victim feeling forgotten, excluded or ignored.

General information

The Victim Service Unit is always looking for energetic, caring volunteers for the unit. VSU is 24 hour a day service including weekends and holidays. On-Call shifts are 12 hour intervals from 7am-7pm and 7pm-7am. Volunteers choose their own shifts that will work with their schedules each month.
