At Petoskey Professional Counselors, LLC, we work with individuals who wish to live a full and rewarding life regardless of past experiences or current challenges. Clients have a range of issues that may include, but are not limited to, adult survivors of recent or remote trauma, adult survivors of childhood maltreatment, individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, bi-polar depression, relations

hip issues, low sense of self, anger management, adjustment difficulties, parent-child dysfunction, addiction issues, or grief and loss. We use a variety of carefully chosen treatment modalities to assist clients in reaching their personal goals. Such modalities might include CBT, traditional talk therapy, EMDR, relaxation, biofeedback, pyschodynamic interpretation, assessment measures, and reading or writing material. Coming in November 2020 we will be adding psychiatric services that will include evaluation, treatment and follow up for psychiatric medications.

Wednesday, October 4th, FEMA is conducting a national test for emergency alerts. Your phone will get the alert anywhere from 2:20 pm (Eastern time) to 2:50 pm. The signal will start being broadcasted at 2:20 and will last for 30 minutes but your phone will only alert once. Do not turn your phone back on until you are safe to do so as the phone could alert when reactivated.

The sudden noise of this alert could disclose the location of your hidden device, so it's best to power it completely down during that time.

PPC, LLC is so pleased to announce the addition of Susan McCloskey, PMHNP-BC. Susan McCloskey is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner who received her Master of Science degree from Maryville University and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Michigan. Sue has experience with clients across the lifespan but specializes in working with CHILDREN AND ADOLESCENCE. Susan is such a needed resource in N.
