I hope you will join me tomorrow at JAKs Brewing Company for a special Day of the Dead Brewhouse Yoga experience 💀

This will be a slower, deeper, and more devotional practice honoring those we have loved who are no longer in earthly form. The veil is said to be thin on this day, inviting us to pause, remember, and connect through gratitude and love.

No Kings in Loveland with Amelia and Gabriel. We are here for parent’s weekend and we’re happy to show up with the beautiful city of Loveland in a show of solidarity and patriotism.

Last weekend I took Sunday with my husband to see the leaves of the aspen trees changing in the mountains. This was, in truth, my first day away from work in weeks. It was such a load off my shoulders to not be in a state of planning, teaching, or marketing and it reminded me that I’ve let a lot of things fall to the wayside as I was frantically working. Sometimes I have blinders on when I work hard, to the detriment of my sense of balance, my beloved family and friends, and my own peace. I’m still learning and trying to get it right, just like you, I am seeking healthy balance in my life. Thanks for being there beside me.

I am teaching in my friend’s elementary classroom this week and, damn, it reminds me how how hard it is to work a typical 8-5 schedule and still find time to do supportive practices like yoga, meditation and training with weights! So here’s a huge shout out to all of those who do make time for what feels balancing to you. In the meantime, I’m juggling this along with studio and YTT work so my responses may be delayed.

I took the family to Water World today and tried my best to pretend I don’t have a job. I left my phone in a locker, put my watch on Do Not Disturb and tried to let my only concern be if I had reapplied my sunscreen. Running a business is tough and it can take over your life. I’m still learning and not always doing a good job of it, but I strive to find balance.

And you know what? No hashtags. 🤷‍♀️
