In this video, we’re working on skills that help your child’s eyes and mouth work together during everyday activities.
👉 Convergence is when both eyes move together to look at something close (like a book, puzzle, or food).
👉 Divergence is when the eyes move back out to look at things farther away.
When these eye skills are still developing, kids may:
• Lose their place when reading
• Avoid close‑up activities
• Get tired or frustrated easily
• Have trouble with coordination during play or mealtime
We pair these eye skills with oral motor activities to strengthen attention, coordination, and overall body awareness — all through play that feels fun and successful for your child 💙
