Elisha and Cristy are starting a monthly closed consultation group for therapists who are desiring more connection & support. This group will utilize sandtray and other expressive arts to facilitate metaphor and safety, welcoming parts of ourselves that lack words.

This group will focus on:
🔹Fostering connection with fellow therapists
🔹Consulting about client work
🔹Creating a safe space for vulnerability regarding the impacts of this work
🔹Increasing awareness of the systems and culture influencing us and our clients (we know we are all facing a lot of unknowns in the coming years)
🔹Building internal resources to combat isolation and overwhelm

🌟This group will be limited in number🌟No prior sandtray experience is required🌟

Elisha and Cristy collectively have over 30 years of experience in this field, bringing a variety of experiences and both sharing a love of working with complex developmental trauma, parenting, and neurodiversity through the lens of attachment and interpersonal neurobiology. They met through working with shared mentors and peers and a shared love of all things sandtray. They understand the importance of consultation, connection, reflection, and support- and are excited to invite therapists to a space that offers a soft place to land and a supportive place to grow.

Y'all. Holidays are here in a blink. And at times and for some they contain so much expectation and history and pressure. This year is holding a lot for a lot of people, so some gentle reminders as you are making plans.

Group therapy before people try it🫣😵‍💫😱: We hear from clients that it's intimidating🔸 Why share time with your therapist with other people🔸 Isn't is weird to be in a group of strangers sharing therapy things🔸 Will I get anything out of it if we are all awkwardly staring at each other😬...

Group therapy after clients experience it🥰🤩🫶🏽: That was so helpful- just as helpful as individual just in a different way🔹 I felt a lot less alone and way more understood than I imagined🔹 I learned things from the other group members and felt like I was bringing something valuable, too🔹It didn't take too long for the awkward staring to stop😁...
