PSJA ISD Health Services Department was thrilled to attend the PSJA ISD Auditorium Groundbreaking Ceremony and show our support for the renovating of one of our "Oso Domes"! The auditorium will be converted into a state-of-the-art building with seating for up to 1,200 guests!

Our Health Staff was proud to be part of this year's PSJA ISD Convocation! Our Health Staff was able to gather with over 5,000 employees and listen to a several speakers, including TMoore the Motivator!

Our PSJA ISD Health Services Department was excited to kick off our back-to-school professional development sessions this school year. We are happy to welcome back our amazing school nurses and prepare them for another year of caring for and supporting our PSJA students! Their in-service consisted of team building, health updates, new school laws, epidemiology, and school health services.

Texas Senate Bill 12 requires all students to have a health consent form on file to receive ANY health related services, including first aid and illness care while at school.

If you select “No”, on the consent form, your child will not be cared for or treated by the school nurse/ campus staff if they are sick or injured while at school. *This does not apply to life-threatening or emergency situations.

Be sure to sign the consent form TODAY to ensure your child is ready for the first day of school!

You have a copy of the consent form in the email you provided the school, sign a copy with the nurse at "Meet the Teacher" or visit your child’s campus to sign a copy. ISD
