It’s been a long time since I’ve met a girl this passionate about the sport someone who truly listens and takes everything in. No ego. Just work. Just hunger.

She’s got the passion.
She’s got the desire to be the best.

So proud of Roman for an outstanding game last week.

At just 7 years old, in 1st grade, he’s competing in the 2nd–3rd grade division against kids two years older and had 26 points against a very talented group of players.
But what makes us even prouder isn’t just the points.
It’s the next-level work ethic.
The daily reps.
The hunger to improve.
The passion for the game.
The fearlessness and grit.
Most days we have to pull him out of the gym because he’d stay in there for hours.
Proud parents watching the work pay off and even more excited to see you keep developing. Thanks to Coach Audry for coaching him and challenging him every week. He’s growing his skills as a player but also sharpening his mental game. 💪🏀

I don’t always give my baby girl the credit she deserves. She’s only in 4th grade and already competing with 12u–14u. That takes courage and grit.I’m so proud of you, baby girl. Keep grinding and keep doing your thing. You’re learning, you’re growing, and you’re built different. You’ve got great coaches guiding you and your biggest fans Mom and Dad cheering you on every step of the way.

We love you always.

Pops,

So many great memories I have from growing up. Watching you coach my brother Louie, David Galvan, Anyssa … those throwing sessions would get intense — the trash talk, the competitiveness — but it was always all love.

You created so many great throwers. Some went on to compete at big-time universities, but no matter where they ended up, they all carried your fire with them.

You instilled in me the passion I have for this sport. Because of you, I became a track and field coach. Because of you, there are coaches all over the Valley still pouring into kids the way you poured into us.

You built a powerful community of throwers across the RGV. Now some of the best throwers are coming out of the Valley — and you were the foundation of it all.

Coach, your legacy will live on through every coach you inspired and every athlete you helped mold.

My future state champs going head-to-head in basketball! The love we have for each other’s kids is amazing. Can’t wait to see these two keep developing. Felix and Kendra, maybe one day they can play together in high school. Time to come back home! 😂🏀

Man, I couldn’t be prouder of my kids for competing at Nationals today! What a day!
Jianna brought home the gold in her division 🥇, and Roman just 6 years old placed 15th in the 8U division! He didn’t do as well as he hoped, but it’s all part of the journey. He gained experience and will come back even stronger. 💪🏽🔥
So damn proud of both of them. Their hard work, heart, and grit showed up on the big stage.
All glory to God! 🙏🏽

Couldn’t be more proud of my baby girl!
From volleyball to basketball, softball, and track & field she’s been grinding all summer long. And now… she’s a National Champion in the shot put! 💪🏽🔥

She continues to amaze us with her hard work, dedication, and desire to be the best. Today, she proved it to herself and showed us what she’s made of.

Daddy and Mommy are so proud of you! Keep chasing greatness, baby girl!👑
