Our new clinic bought this huge playground therapy set. They had a bunch of misfit pieces they didn't want and were throwing them away. So, since my daughter and I were planning on making a canning closet, we asked if we could take the pieces. We will probably have the flashiest closet around till we decide to paint it!

Sorry y'all. We moved our whole clinic this weekend. So, ai didn't have time to do much. I put these together for my friends grandson. That green coin is Grinch money! Since it's awfully late for any of you that don't live in the Rio Grande Valley (yes, I live in Texas), I'm thinking of posting a cupcake sale right after Christmas. Let me know if you're interested. I will post some ideas if you want and let you know what duckies I have if your interested.

Almost finished with the soap room closet! I had to remove some bubble up paint on the ceiling. I tapped it and now have to sand some more and paint.

Latest photos of the newspaper room! I caught Covid in early July and it delayed the room. I'm sorry about that yellow hue on the wall. Early on there was a leak in the water line. So, I asked them to put a cut off valve in. That's what that little white panel is on the lower left of the plain wall. When it was time to install the wall faucets (aren't they cool?), Everyone else was sick with Covid! So, I attached the cabinet and put on the plywood top. If you look closely you can see the SCREWS I had to attach the top with (ugggghhhh!). See the plumbers had someone come out and make sure it was ready for the faucets and tankless water heater (a tiny one under the sink). He said "Do not glue down the counter top. They need to have it off to connect the plumbing pipes." Then they showed up 2 days later and said "Why didn't you put the top on?" (Again- agghhhhhh!). So, they did the plumbing and I used gorilla wood glue and screws to attach the countertop. I still need to attach trim. So, I guess it will cover the screws. Except those two little buggers. I have to remove those and angle them because they won't go in.
Anyways, since I'm on my own till everyone gets well, my daughter and I are looking at colors. (see the mess of paint swabs on the countertop?) I have some wooden cabinets to put on the wall to the right of the sink that I want to sand down and paint. (I definitely don't want red). And I need to change out those beige plugs. So, that's the progress so far. What do you think?

I found a Heinz ketchup copycat recipe! My daughter tried it and says it does taste like ketchup. 4 pint jars and 8 half pints.
