Thomas Cheney is currently a student at McAllister Institute of Funeral Service in New York. In 1995 The Cheney's purchased what was then the Dewey Funeral Home. Dewey and the 40 years that he served the Phelps area they retained his name and and called it the Cheney-Dewey Funeral Home Inc. me. The entire facility has been remodeled and an addition was added in the rear of the building in 2002. We feel our reputation and facility have been built by the families who have placed their trust in us to guide them through this most difficult time in their life. We pride ourselves on serving each family with respect and paying attention to even the smallest details.
