If you are lookin’ for a challenge, positive growth, new skills or to shake up to your patterns & step out of your comfort zone ... our 2026 teacher training is for you!

Wondering what sets our Teacher Training apart from other trainings in the city?

☀️As a part of graduation, you will teach a 60 minute class in our studio that is open to the public. Yes.... A FULL CLASS!!! After 200 hours of hard work the accomplishment of teaching your own full class is so rewarding & will set you up to confidently head into the world as a yoga teacher.

☀️Speaking of heading into the world as a yoga teacher, we provide post-graduation support for next steps & opportunities to continue practice teaching.

☀️Our training allows you to choose your own path. Whether you are looking to teach slow flow or heated power flow, you will be supported by a diverse team of instructors.

☀️To align with our big goal of making yoga accessible, we have an unlimited amount of BIPOC scholarships. Yoga is for everyone, everybody, and we are committed to changing the yoga landscape in our city of Philadelphia.

💫What brought you to yoga?

I was fortunate to have a very full life and woke up one day at 34 and it all of a sudden very empty. I realized I did not have an identity myself. Never had I stopped to ask myself who I was and the things that made me happy. I started practicing yoga to learn how to feel and how to love myself.

💫What’s your favorite yoga pose and/or practice?

I can’t remember the name of this one lol, but it’s the side plank where you reach your hand back to grab your ankle. I can’t wait to do Birds of Paradise later this fall and handstands. Heated Power Flow 60

💫What’s your can’t-miss on your weekly schedule?

Sunday mornings with Sim or Rasheeda to end the week for sure. No better way to launch into a comfy, cozy, lazy Sunday at the pool or sweats on the couch

💫What are you reading currently? (or watching/listening to, etc!)

The One Thing Holding You Back by Raphael Cushnir.

“You can’t let go of what you haven’t first let be.”

It’s helped me stop rushing to “move on” and start tuning in to what emotions are really saying. That shift changed how I show up—for my people, myself, and how I lead in the studio. More presence, less autopilot, and more meaning behind every word.

💫What’s your post-yoga routine?

Cold morning swim. Clears the noise, jolts the system, and preps me for the heat extremes ahead.

💫What’s your favorite self-care ritual at the moment?

Morning swims + homemade ginger lemon ice pops with honey + salt.
It started when I kept craving ice pops post flow, realizing they were missing a certain something, we started making our own, full of everything we need to reset.

💫What drew you to teaching yoga?

Because when breath, beat, and bodies sync—something magic happens.

Yoga has also been my anchor through a career shift, motherhood, and all the messy-beautiful middles. Teaching is how I share that steadiness and make coming back to the mat feel like an easy, fun choice every time.

Yoga isn’t just movement, it’s a way of living with awareness 🧘 At its roots, yoga offers a framework for practice known as the Eight Limbs of Yoga, each one guiding a different part of our inner and outer lives.

The first limb is called Yama, a set of five principles for how we relate to the world around us.

This month, we’re starting with the first principle: Ahimsa, the practice of non-harming.

Let’s get into it. 💭
