3 signs you’re a high-achieving woman with anxiety (that no one talks about)

1. You can’t relax—even when everything is done
You finally sit down… and your brain immediately finds something else to worry about.
2. Your worth feels tied to productivity
Rest feels earned. Doing nothing feels wrong. You feel your best when you’re accomplishing something.
3. You look calm on the outside—but your mind is loud
Overthinking, replaying conversations, planning 10 steps ahead… all while appearing “fine.”

You’re not broken.
You just learned that being “on” all the time kept you safe, successful, or in control.

✨ But you don’t have to live in survival mode forever.

If this hit, you’re not the only one living like this.

Wishing you a happy, healthy and peaceful 2026 🎆

Especially if you were taught to earn connection.

Discomfort doesn’t mean you’re doing it wrong.

Therapy can change how you relate — not just how you feel.

Loneliness doesn’t mean you’re regressing.
Save this if you needed the reminder 🤍

“3 things I wish more women knew about anxiety 👇”

1️⃣ Anxiety doesn’t mean you’re weak
2️⃣ Avoidance makes anxiety louder
3️⃣ You can feel anxious and live a full life

Anxiety isn’t a character flaw — it’s a nervous system doing its best.
And yes, you can work with it instead of against it.

✨ Signs Your Anxiety Is Getting Better

✨ You respond instead of panic

You still feel anxious — but it doesn’t control your choices anymore.

✨ You’re not spiraling as long

The waves still come, but you come back to yourself faster.

✨ You trust your body again

Sensations don’t scare you as much as they used to.

✨ You’re tolerating uncertainty

You no longer need everything answered right away.

✨ You set boundaries with less guilt

You choose peace over people-pleasing.

✨ You ask for help sooner

You don’t wait until you’re at a breaking point.

✨ You don’t judge your anxiety as harshly

You’ve stopped treating yourself like the problem.

✨ You stay present more often

You’re spending less time in “what if” mode.

✨ Rest no longer feels dangerous

Still unfamiliar… but not lazy or wrong.

✨ You feel hope creep in between hard moments

And that matters more than you realize.

🍂 Soft Goals for Women’s Mental Health

Fall often brings the pressure to “do more” — new routines, packed schedules, high expectations. But many women I see in therapy thrive more when they set soft goals instead of harsh resolutions.

💛 A soft goal is:
– Compassionate rather than critical
– Focused on progress, not perfection
– Flexible enough to adapt when life happens

✨ Try this week:
• Instead of “I’ll work out every day,” try “I’ll move my body in a way that feels kind at least 3 days this week.”
• Instead of “I won’t let anyone stress me out,” try “I’ll pause and breathe before I respond when I feel my stress rising.”

Women are searching right now for ways to balance mental health with the demands of career, caregiving, and relationships. Soft goals make it sustainable.

💬 What’s one soft goal you’re setting for yourself this month?

It's Maternal Su***de Awareness Month. Sadly, maternal su***de is one of the leading causes of death during pregnancy and the first year postpartum.

But there is so much we can do to prevent and build awareness. We linked a good read from Psychology Today in our bio. Check it out!

💡 Therapy Tip: The Difference Between “Coping” and “Processing”

Many people come to therapy saying, “I’ve been coping fine… but I’m still not okay.”
That’s because coping and processing are two different things:

🔹 Coping = Managing the symptoms in the moment (breathing exercises, grounding, journaling, distraction).
🔹 Processing = Addressing the root causes and emotions so the pain lessens over time.

Both are important.
Coping gets you through the storm.
Processing helps the storm pass.

If you’ve been coping for years and still feel weighed down, it might be time to start processing in a safe, guided space.

If this sounds like you, there are ways in therapy to process through and move past painful experiences. Contact me to learn more!

🧠 Let’s Talk About the Mental Load 🧠

Do you ever feel like you’re keeping track of everything?

Doctor’s appointments. Grocery lists. Birthday parties. That one email you still need to respond to.

You’re not imagining it; it’s called the mental load, and it often falls disproportionately on women.

It’s the invisible work of remembering, planning, anticipating, and juggling.

And it’s exhausting.

In therapy, we help women name it, share it, and set boundaries around it.

You don’t have to carry it all alone.

✨ Therapy is a space to lay it down — and find a better way.

Let’s start that conversation.
