The menstrual cycle is often referred to as a burden rather than what it really is - POWERFUL af and such a gift

When we honor each phase instead of forcing ourselves to live the same way all month long,

we can actually be more productive, healthy, and successful- with greater ease and way less effort!

Not only does the menstrual cycle allow us to CREATE LIFE, release toxins, and receive feedback on our bodies…

It provides us with superpowers during each phase:

🌱FOLLICULAR (inner spring) is ideal for beginnings, creativity, fresh / raw food, intense movement
💚Superpower = drive, energy, and brain power

🦋OVULATORY (inner summer) is best for communication and connection, fresh / raw food, high-intensity exercise
💙Superpower = confidence, magnetism, verbal skills, and leadership

🔮LUTEAL (inner fall) is a time for power - starting out productive before shifting to a time for rest. It’s best for executing, focus, bringing things to completion, slow burning carbs & cooked foods, strength & gentle workouts
💜Superpower = discernment + ability to recognize the truth

🧘‍♀️MENSTRUAL (inner winter) is all about restoration & intuition, cooked & warming foods, rest & gentle movement

I just made choosing the holistic route a lotttt easier for you 😏🫶

When I learned how much of our ✨stuff✨ is toxic, it honestly made me overwhelmed.. like- another thing to worry about?

I was SO anxious about making sure everything I ate, put on my skin, and bought was non-toxic.

For me personally, this state of stress from being a purest about everything was u n h e a l t h y !!

That’s why this post is titled “Low Tox Living” rather than NON Tox Living.

The body is resilient and designed to detoxify toxins… it’s just that we’ve pushed our bodies past their limits.

This modern world bombards us.

So my goal is always to lessen the toxic burden on my body as much as possible while still being able to ENJOY life.

This post focuses on the honest truth- that toxins are indeed an issue for our health

AND how to navigate making choices to lessen the toxic burden on your body without the stress.

People are commonly told their bloodwork results are “normal” just because they don’t show levels that correlate with disease..

But in reality, most of us are deficient in nutrients to some degree, which could solve a lot of the problems we rack our brains trying to “fix”

Rather than “normal” (low) levels, what about optimal levels? The levels our body truly needs for optimal functioning?

For things like energy, focus, steady mood, clear skin, healthy hair and nails, a pain-free body??

And why wait for disease?

Unfortunately, our health care industry is trained to look for signs of disease rather than promoting health.

That’s why it’s up to individuals to advocate for themselves, which is exactly what this post walks you through.

We can address deficiencies with food and improved digestion (Parts 3 & 4 of this series covers those topics!)

But because of modern farming’s impact on the soil quality, today’s food lacks nutrients😞

Which is why supplements are such a helpful tool in today’s world.

Still, so many of us don’t fully understand gut health and wonder if it’s actually worth it

Truthfully, it IS a major to key to improving everything from energy levels to skin to chronic illness

Because imbalances of microbes in our digestive tract, the lining of the gut, and our stomach acid have a domino effect in:

Changing my eating is the quickest way for me to change how I feel…

To this day, if I feel issues with my energy, focus, mood, skin, digestion, and joints… I focus on my food choices.

But when I first started to try eat healthy, I genuinely struggled to navigate WHAT was actually healthy.

I went from the standard American diet of processed crap ➡️ to strict paleo ➡️ to an even more restrictive diet which led to cycles of restriction, and then binge eating crap ➡️ to gradually eating ALL foods, but in a balanced, high quality, healthy way☺️

And I’m sharing allll of this in this well organized blog post / blog - No BS Healthy Eating 🙌

🔸Healthy eating is not about less calories in + more exercise
🔸It’s not about strict diets or over restriction or suffering
🔸and it’s not about any extreme trends, like simply increasing protein (although I do recommend balancing meals with more protein as part of the equation… which I explain in the post!)

Let me break down how to navigate healthy eating so you don’t have to feel anxious about how your food choices are affecting your body.

Your food choices should feel sustainable, do-able, satisfying, and support you feeling good now AND support your body long term!

I even included my grocery shopping staples to make things easier.

Danny was the first to teach me that we are ultimately souls and energy inhabiting bodies.

That our bodies and minds are not necessarily US, but they are the magical machines we GET to live in for this lifetime!

So many of us feel burdened by the very machine designed to be the vehicle for our souls to feel good…

and ultimately, this suffering isn’t natural or necessary. It’s just a natural reaction to our modern world and way of living.

Holistic healing isn’t about fixing - it’s about supporting the potential that’s already within.

While I’m sharing a lot of valuable information, please don’t feel like you need to do everything at once. In fact, I encourage you to focus on small action steps in the areas that will give YOUR unique body the biggest benefits.
