Heating pad โ€ข the OG, literally a girlโ€™s best friend

Herbal tincture โ€ข you guys know I love taking Healing to help balance my hormones and experience less painful periods. this made my periods more manageable and I canโ€™t recommend it enough

Gentle movement โ€ข low-intensity is key: stretching, walking & yoga are my go-toโ€™s during this time of the month. the best thing you can do to ease cramps is to open your hips and keep your muscles relaxed

Iron-rich tea โ€ข dandelion tea is nutrient-rich, supports liver detoxification, reduces inflammation, eases bloating & supports healthy iron levels. for my anemic girls: get you some

Abdominal massage โ€ข a couple drops of soothing body oil and circular motions can ease pelvic pain, bloating, release muscle tension and promote lymphatic flow ~

CBD balm โ€ข an all-natural healing cream to ease muscle and joint pain. first cbd cream Iโ€™ve ever used and it works so well. a little goes a long way!

Supporting your gut in each phase of your cycle can make periods, mood, and energy feel a lot more manageable ๐Ÿฉธ๐ŸŒธ

Menstrual (bleed - Winter):
Support your gut with warm, easyโ€‘toโ€‘digest meals, antiโ€‘inflammatory foods, and plenty of water to help with cramps, bloating, and fatigue.

Follicular (spring):
As energy rises, focus on colourful plants, fiber, and fermented foods to feed your good gut bacteria and support healthy estrogen balance.

Ovulation (summer):

Do you truly listen to your body? I mean, really listen to the random aches & pains you feel and do something about it? Or do you just brush it off in hopes that it will *magically* go away on its own? ๐Ÿงš๐Ÿฟโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿช„๐Ÿ”ฎ

Your body needs you to support it throughout your entire menstrual cycle, not just when youโ€™re on your period. Our bodies require different nutrients, levels of physical activity, and rest during the month. Itโ€™s our responsibility to nourish ourselves daily as best we can to support the daily processes it requires to operate efficiently. That said, when something feels โ€œoffโ€ itโ€™s our job to advocate for ourselves. If not you, then who? As I always say, if your doctor or medical professional isnโ€™t listening to you or taking you seriously, get a second opinion.

Listen a little closer to your body. Whatโ€™s it saying? How can you better support it today? ๐Ÿงก
