▪️Men between 40 and 49 have the highest su***de rates, yet are the least likely to ask for help. Society taught them to tough it out instead of talk it out.

▪️Depression, anxiety, burnout, loneliness, men feel all of it, they’re just less likely to say it.

▪️Struggling doesn’t make you weak as a man and speaking up doesn’t make you soft💯

▪️Check on the men in your life.

The profound statement, "Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere," resonates deeply in our current climate of uncertainty, reminding us that our collective struggles are interconnected. As we navigate these challenging times, it’s essential to recognize the importance of mental health, particularly among those who, like Martin Luther King Jr., faced significant emotional burdens in their pursuit of justice. King’s experiences highlight that even the most resilient leaders grapple with stress and mental health challenges, underscoring the need for self-care and reflection. Engaging in joyful activities and taking necessary breaks to breathe and appreciate the positive aspects of life can empower individuals to cope with stress effectively. By fostering a culture of support and solidarity, we can create a community that encourages each other to prioritize wellness, cultivate resilience, and continue striving for a better future.

The point is that we must be mindful of who we allow in and keep in our lives. Relationships are not meant to be perfect, be it a marriage, sibling, parent, friend, etc, but it is to be respected. Some people lack self-awareness, and they have not learned how to reciprocate love. Therefore, there is a potential of toxicity in their behaviors that end up spilling in all their relationship. 🛑 notice the signs.. and proceed with caution ⚠️ Join me for a week of wellness check-ins.. Free to everyone for this is not only the season to be jolly but also that of Wellness & Joy!
