Yesterday was a special day! We were thrilled to host a Bingo Game Day at the Oak Street Health Center. 🎲📣

Our clients had an incredible time calling out ”Bingo!” and enjoying some friendly competition. 🥳
We didn’t just bring the game; we brought snacks and gifts to add to the excitement! 🍿🎁 It was heartwarming to see the smiles and hear the laughter filling the room. ☺️ 🎶
A big thank you to our team for organizing and to everyone at Oak Street for welcoming us. Let’s do it again soon!

Our Story

Here at Linda’s Care we believe that empathy can go a long way. We take pride in caring for individuals just as we would care for our family, and there are multiple reasons why. The founder of Linda’s Care- Charnaya Washington, started the company in memory of her late Grandmother Linda D Blount.

Growing up, Charnaya was very close to her Grandmother as she played a significant role in her life. A lot of the memories that were created Charnaya still remembers, such as loving to help her Grandmother cook and clean; Linda’s favorite hobbies were cooking Sunday dinner and watching the Eagles football game. Unfortunately, one day she suffered a stroke which enabled her to care for herself and resulting in her later passing away- devastating her large family. Charnaya especially. As a kid, she remembers wishing she had the ability to care for her Grandmother. Instead of Linda spending indefinite time in a nursing home.

Charnaya would’ve loved to have been able to take care of her Grandmother in the comfort of her own home This traumatic experience was the very thing that gave Charnaya the dream of wanting to help those who could not help themselves. Charnaya has worked in and out of the community for a plethora of years, working as a caregiver and in personal care. She understands first hand what it is like to want your loved one to be taken care of, and that is why she has made it her personal mission to create a space where that can happen. With Linda’s Care, Charnaya is dedicated in ensuring that her clients are number one priority and everyone is treated just like family.
