“Remember why you started.”
Life is unpredictable and sometimes just when we think we got it all figured out, or so close to achieving that goal we’ve been working towards, life happens and were challenged. Some may be small and easy to overcome and others may be so hard to understand and overcome that it throws us so off track to try point we don’t even know what’s left and what’s right. When that happen it all seems to spiral downhill and that’s when we need to pick ourselves back up and “remember why you started.” Sometimes these obstacles happen because your being led into another direction that is for your higher good but we don’t always see that in the midst of the sh*t-storm of life. During these difficult times we have to learn to trust, and let go of control to get through it. Everyone faces these challenges and NO ONES CHALLENGE IS BIGGER, WORSE, or MORE IMPORTANT THAN YOUR OWN. Everything effects people differently and the challenges we face in our own lives are so we can find that inner strength we were born with so we can use it to become the person we were put on this earth to be. Don’t give up, dig deep, find that spark, heal, breathe and keep going. You’re not alone. You’re feelings are valid. You are loved. Your life matters. You’re stronger than you think. Don’t give up.You got this✨

Do you know if your body is compensating during an exercise? Do you know if your utilizing the correct muscles during an exercise? Do you know that NOBODY is perfect?

You can clearly see in this video that I don’t keep my shoulders retracted down and that im dominatly using my right side to pull me up. But guess what...for today, I’m happy with my one pull-up because this is the first time I was ever able to actually do a pull-up without assistance of a band. This exercise is a work in progress and it’s going to take some time until I can nail down the form but the important thing is I’M AWARE OF MY BODY AND ITS FORM.

Learning the movement pattern and what muscles you are utilizing during an exercise is one of the most important things you NEED to be aware of when working out. Over time when we are not being cautious of your body in space when performing strenuous exercise and resistance training and continue doing these movements, making them more intense by adding load and our bodies are not engaged properly and in bad alignment it causes these exercise related injuries that a lot of people are suffering from.

Exercise related injuries has become a popular trend in the fitness industry over the past few years, due to just people just trying to burn the most calories they can in a short amount of time and not caring about what form looks like. Guess what most people now have some kind of injury, pain, discomfort, and now may be limited in movement from their everyday activities and or exercise.

If you are someone who suffers from this, just live in pain everyday, or are recovering from an injury and need some assistance, I CAN HELP!

I specialize in corrective exercise, coaching techniques and I’m a movement efficiency practitioner and I’m here to help you move more and feel good doing it so you can train for a lifetime limitlessly!
