Clinical Nephrology Associates has now added Thomas Jefferson University Hospital to the list of locations in which we care for our patients.

The Kidney Doctors at Clinical Nephrology Associates remain steadfast in their commitment to providing quality care to all our patients.

Unfortunately American Academic Health System has announced that it plans to shutter Hahnemann University Hospital. The timing of this closure remains unclear but we are prepared for the future.

Clinical Nephrology Associates is an independent practice from Hahnemann Hospital and will NOT be affected by the pending hospital closure. We will continue to operate as usual.

Clinical Nephrology office locations in North Philadelphia, Center City and South Philadelphia will continue to function normally. Likewise all of our dialysis centers will continue to operate on a normal schedule.

We are here to help answer questions about our practice and questions about what to do if Hahnemann does eventually close its doors.

We would like to announce and welcome the newest member of Clinical Nephrology Associates, Dr. Efua Asamoah-Odei .

Dr. Efua Asamoah-Odei joined Clinical Nephrology Associates in 2017. She earned her M.D. from Howard University School of Medicine in 2008. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Temple University Hospital, Philadelphia in 2011 and her fellowship in Nephrology at Christiana Care Health System in Newark, Delaware in 2017. Dr Asamoah-Odei's professional interests include chronic kidney disease, post transplant nephrology and home dialysis modalities. She enjoys teaching medical residents and students as well.
