Don’t let your pup hide in fear!

Did you know, pet fear at the vet is quite common, with studies showing around 40% of dogs show mild to moderate fear, and 15% showing severe fear. Not only does this negatively impact your pet by creating a high stress environment, it can cause stress and uncertainty for clients.

Many times, this can be due to dogs only coming to the vet once a year. While we always strive to provide the best and safest experiences for both our pets and pet parents, not many can say they enjoy being poked and prodded at the clinic.

To help with this, we offer meet and greet visits, where you can bring your pet in at no charge to make the clinic a more positive experience. This involves your pet getting to meet the staff with lots of treats and cuddles, no shots allowed! We can tailor your visit to your pets preference, including limiting other possible pet interactions.

As many of you are already aware construction is on full force at the clinic. There are adjustments needing to be made day by day for us to navigate around everything. Please continue to park in our temporary parking lot during this time and be aware of the workers and their equipment. They will be around to assist you, but please also call the clinic at 215-340-0345 should you need any help. Our technicians are more than willing to come out.

We appreciate everyone's support and continued patience during this time and cannot wait for you all to see the final product!

Allergy season is in full swing.

Allergy symptoms are more than just itching. Excessive licking of the paws, shaking of head, chewing on parts of the body, and redness and inflammation are all signs. Some pets may only have one symptom while with others it is more obvious.

There are many options to help your itchy pet. The clinic now carries Apoquel chewable! If you notice any of these symptoms, call us at 215-340-0345

🔥 Never leave pets alone around an open flame
🔥 Pet proof your home by keeping the safe from flammables and electrical wires
🔥 Make sure your pet has an ID tag and microchip in case you are separated
🔥 When practicing your escape plan, practice taking your pets with you
🔥 Have an emergency plan with a safe location to take your pet to after a fire
🔥 Make sure your smoke alarms are functioning properly
