It’s National Public Health Week🩷As we recognize the incredible contributions of our public health professionals and partners, we’re here also doing the work to improve the state of our community’s public health.

Revive Solutions is reviving communities using CPR and FirstAid education and hands training to directly address the power YOU have in saving a life as a bystander.

When immediately provided, CPR significantly improves outcomes for those who need it most. When bystanders take action to give CPR, it keeps blood circulating and oxygen flowing to vital organs such as the brain essentially, keeping the person “alive” until help arrives.

🛑 October is Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDs) Awareness Month! 🛑 Let’s work together to ensure our little ones sleep safely. Here are some helpful tips to prevent SIDs:

Always place your baby on their back to sleep.
Use a firm mattress with no soft bedding, pillows, or toys in the crib.
Share a room with your baby, but avoid bed-sharing.
Avoid exposure to smoke during pregnancy and after birth.
Encourage breastfeeding for at least the first six months.

We’re excited to welcome Kayla Gonzales, Certified Perinatal Doula and founder of All for Love Doula Services LLC, to the Revive Solutions family! 💙

Kayla brings a wealth of knowledge and experience as a Community Birth & Postpartum Doula, Lactation Peer Counselor, and medical interpreter. She’s been serving a wide range of clients, including the Latino and Hispanic communities, offering compassionate, evidence-based support that empowers expecting mothers throughout their perinatal journey.

As a certified Perinatal Doula in Pennsylvania, Kayla’s mission is to provide physical, emotional, and educational support to mothers, helping them make informed and confident decisions. Her background in non-profit and educational settings, paired with her bilingual abilities, makes her a perfect fit for our team!

In her personal life, Kayla is a lover of all things Disney and enjoys being a wife and dog mom. 🐾✨
