Is it Chris Farr or Joey Toal? No one has ever seen them in the same room at the same time.

Many people think they work together around NYD. They take turns visiting the bands that they arrange for and give direction and suggestions.

No one knows for sure.

We had a chance to catch up with Joey today. No worries, he didn't get out of bed until 11 AM and decided on brunch. He said, why pick breakfast or lunch? When Sammy's buying get both.

His legs are a little sore but he felt he could go today if needed. He thinks he has a few more years of doing Strinbands and Comics.

He also shared that he worked out his reinstatement with the assistance of Matthew Kelly and number 1 Capt, Jimmy Good.

He appreciates the conversation he had with Board of QCSB. He explained that we are family. He hopes to make it over to Matt's for Sunday dinner next week.

To be honest, how can anyone tell him no after this performance?

Joey has a statement regarding yesterday.

Fellow Mummers and strut enthusiasts, after deep soul-searching (and several Coors Lights and many cigs), I had to make the tough call to stick with the Comic Division yesterday.

Unfortunately, that meant I couldn't make it up Broad Street with my Quaker City brothers on New Year's Day – I was too busy strutting and didn't have the energy to fix the issues the SBA caused.

I know many were concerned and upset. However, to help fill that hole you have, picture me, fully in costume and face paint, prancing, smoking, drinking, yelling and most importantly strutting to Washington Ave.

My brothers in Quaker City, killed it anyway (I watched from my couch in 4K).

Next year, I'll be back... unless they cancel the competition part again.

Joey is felling good. Doesn't think there will be a tie this year.
