Joey has a statement regarding yesterday.

Fellow Mummers and strut enthusiasts, after deep soul-searching (and several Coors Lights and many cigs), I had to make the tough call to stick with the Comic Division yesterday.

Unfortunately, that meant I couldn't make it up Broad Street with my Quaker City brothers on New Year's Day – I was too busy strutting and didn't have the energy to fix the issues the SBA caused.

I know many were concerned and upset. However, to help fill that hole you have, picture me, fully in costume and face paint, prancing, smoking, drinking, yelling and most importantly strutting to Washington Ave.

My brothers in Quaker City, killed it anyway (I watched from my couch in 4K).

Next year, I'll be back... unless they cancel the competition part again.

The weather didn't stop Joey last night or today. He was at the club today working with Capt. James Good and Matthew Kelly stopped by for a little strut contest.

Joey is felling good. Doesn't think there will be a tie this year.

A lot of recruiting took place this weekend. Early talks, a handshake deal is in place. Application was signed but now all that's left is a physical.

QCSB picked up another captain. Joey played a key role in the negotiations.
