On Sunday, March 8th, Daylight Saving Times will start at 2AM, which will change to 3AM, and we will lose one hour of sleep. Remember to adjust your clocks before the day!
If you find yourself unable to adjust your inner clock right away, we recommend adjusting your sleep schedule gradually and get as much sunlight as possible, especially for older adults.

Women have always been an important, yet unrecognized presence in the field of medicine and healthcare. While not seen as doctors, midwives have existed for centuries and played a vital part in all parts of society, from the loyal court to the common folks. Today, despite gender parity, the number of women working and being recognized for their achievements in this field has increased. We wish to bring attention to the women working in medicine, who persevere for their patients in spite of many hardships awaiting them.

Even as the end of February approaches, winter remains as harsh as ever. With the cold weather, seniors find themselves isolated in their own home, which can lead to several negative effects: depression stemming from loneliness, reduced mobility from lack of outdoor activities, and weakened immune system due to the change in weather.

That is why at this time of year, companionship is extremely important. To support seniors' emotional wellbeing, help them stay engaged and healthy, we aim to create a welcoming environment in their own home. Something as simple as the presence of a person can bring warmth to the coldest winter day, and no one should be alone during this harsh time.
