IPMC Sleep Disorders Center brings together Board-Certified Sleep Specialists and staff to diagnose problems in an advanced, 4-room, sleep center. While patients sleep, Polysomnographic Technologists observe the sleep patterns in a separate room. Brain activity, breathing patterns, muscle activity, and heartbeat are monitored. IPMC Sleep Disorders Center can improve patients' health and quality of life by diagnosing a full range of disturbances. We are pleased to announce the expansion of our imaging capabilities with the addition of a new high-resolution CT machine. This advancement will allow us to continue providing high-quality diagnostic testing for your patients, with faster scan times, improved diagnostic accuracy, and an enhanced patient experience.
The Siemens Somatom Definition AS 64-slice CT scanner is a state-of-the-art, low-dose unit that is eco-friendly and offers the highest spatial resolution in the industry. It enables us to perform a wide range of studies, including brain, abdominal, and vascular imaging, with greater clarity and precision.
While there will be a brief downtime during installation, we are now scheduling patients for early March.

Independent Physicians Medical Center (ipmcmed.com) is looking for a medical receptionist with a minimum of 3 years of medical experience in a high-volume hospital setting or a pre-med student. Tasks include performing a wide variety of clinical, administrative, and human relations functions, meeting and greeting patients while assisting them with registration, scheduling patients' appointments, and assisting physicians. It is a part-time position for 20-25 hours per week, including evening hours. Friendly family-like work environment.
