Today, we celebrate the 80th anniversary of D-Day, the beginning of the liberation of Europe in WWII. Even if you don't live in the suburbs or a rural area, you can still get bitten by a tick. Ticks thrive in almost any wooded, grassy, or overgrown place—meaning places like Fairmount Park and some of the other bigger green spaces in the city are opportune places for a tick bite!
