Let’s talk about High Blood Pressure in Pregnancy. This is a spectrum of disorders from gestational hypertension, to preeclampsia and eclampsia. Not every pregnant woman will develop all of these disorders, but Preeclampsia occurs in about 1 in 25 pregnancies in the US (CDC).

Black women do have a higher risk of preeclampsia than non-black women.

Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS): 5 red flags symptoms you should know!

🚩 More than minimal re**al bleeding

🚩 Weight loss

🚩 Unexplained iron deficiency anemia

🚩 Nocturnal symptoms
