Emotions bubbling, some dredging up from the depths of the past, finding their way to the surface. 🌊

As a magician, I recognize my array of choices. How should I confront these feelings? Am I prepared to delve deeper? What might happen if I suppress them? What if I don't suppress them but instead transcend them?

Cancer beckons us to explore our inner selves, the emotions and past traumas that may have been too raw to confront at the time of their occurrence but perhaps warrant our attention now.

We can turn to tarot to discern what is ripe for examination during the full moon's embrace by the crab.

Here's an easy tarot spread urging us to focus on just one aspect that is primed for processing. This spread not only reveals what is ready for acknowledgment but also guides us in the process of confronting it and charting a path forward beyond it.

H I, I ‘ M J E S S I C A. 👋

Thanks so much for following along on my journey and engaging with me on this platform. I wanted to take a moment to introduce (or re-introduce) myself.

I’ve spent the majority of my adult career working in technology, but the majority of my free-time studying hermetic sciences including Tarot with Naha Armady of 22 Teachings School of Hermetic Science and Magical Arts. About a year ago, I heeded the call to transition to a full-time metaphysician and that’s when I opened , a hip and mystical enclave in the heart of southern Baja’s Pueblo Magico: Todos Santos. Continuing to converse with something higher, I felt it necessary to start doing online readings too. Because at the end of the day, my mantra is “to be of service” and the wider the reach, the more I can show up.

Forever a student, I am continuously refining my ability to activate the mythic imagination and create real magic in daily life. My ideal client is someone who’s ready to explore, activate their imagination, and connect with their higher self.

I find that tarot is often mistaken as fortune telling. Instead, I see it as a therapy session with that higher self. Together we call in clarification, confirmation, and the nudge you need to make the changes your soul is secretly craving.

I live in Todos Santos, Mexico, way out in the desert with my husband Kevin, my dog Taco, and my cat Pumpkin. When I’m not reading tarot, I’m studying. My close friends will tell you it’s hard to get this Hermit out of the house.

So what’s next for me? A course, a book, a deck. These are little dreams that are showing up lately – some with great force and some only in whispers. It’s important to listen.

The reality is that we’re being told to continue on living our lives as if nothing has changed. We are still responsible for getting up, going to work, making the man his money. All while feeling like our rights have been stripped away from us. If you can’t focus on your silly little tasks right now, it’s not only understandable but I think we can all relate. So give yourself permission to be concerned, distracted, overwhelmed. I’m not saying don’t work toward transmuting that into something more positive and lighter and connected. But, I am saying that it’s totally ok.

There's a right time and a wrong time to get a tarot reading. I previously posted about the right time to get a reading. Here is when not to get a reading… 🔮

YOU JUST HAD A TAROT READING - I recommend leaving a gap between professional readings UNLESS the reading is about a totally different and specific question. Allow things to shift and evolve before going back to the cards.

YOU WANT A REDO - I've seen people trying to chase the answer they want to hear by going to multiple readers and asking the same question over and over again, instead of accepting the answer they received the first time. This is pointless.

YOUR QUESTION IS ABOUT SOMEONE ELSE - If your entire line of questioning is about another person and their thoughts and behaviors (like what your ex is up to), then a tarot reading is not the answer. Tarot is supposed to give you insight about yourself, not other people. Reflect and revise the question so it's aligned with what's best for you.
