Colic is one of the most common reason that a mom might bring their infant in to see me. Colic is a frustrating diagnosis for parents because the diagnostic criteria is simply uncontrollable crying for 3 hours per day, 3 days per week lasting for 3 weeks.

Chiropractic focuses on getting to the root of the problem as to WHY the baby is crying and unable to be consoled. Identifying the why is the most important step in being able to help these babies. And with over 90% of colicky babies improving under chiropractic care it should be a no brainer that all babies with colic should go see a pediatric chiropractor🧠

Happy Birthday CHIROPRACTIC!!

129 years ago, TODAY, September 18, 1895, the first chiropractic adjustment was given by Dr. DD Palmer to his janitor, Mr. Harvey Lillard. My favorite part of this story is the WHY the adjustment was given. Mr. Lillard was NOT in pain. He’d lost his hearing after something heavy fell on his head many years before. Dr. Palmer believed that his deafness was a result of a spinal injury and adjusted Harvey, and his hearing was restored!! Chiropractic was born. Healing from above down, inside out, became a reality.

Chiropractic means "done by hand" and is the largest healing profession in the world that uses no surgery, drugs or outside factors to heal someone but helps to release the body's own healing powers within.

What an amazing journey chiropractic and chiropractor’s have been on to bring about what it is today! How grateful I am to be a part of this incredible profession, helping hundreds of families receive care that is changing their lives every day!!

Normal physiological birth can be tough on newborn babies bodies. The position they are in in-utero, slight turning of the head while descending through the birth canal and of course any added force of doctor's pulling on baby, forceps or vacuum-assisted births can cause imbalance and tension in a baby's body.

Gentle and specific chiropractic care can make a world of a difference in a baby's body and allow them to better adapt to their environment as they grow.
