Grateful for the opportunity to share something truly special with a few of our valued referral partners this week at Lakewood Rehabilitation & Healthcare centre, Mountain Top Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center, and Birchwood Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center.

Kangaroo therapy was an absolute hit—bringing genuine smiles, laughter, and a sense of calm to both residents and staff. Experiences like these are a meaningful reminder of the positive impact pet therapy can have, and just one of the many unique ways Serenity Hospice strives to support our patients and community partners.

There’s something special about moments the bring pure joy! As an employee of Serenity Hospice, I was able to sponsor an unforgettable visit with baby kangaroos for the residents and staff at Amity Place and Keystone Villa at Douglassville. The smiles, laughter, and excitement throughout the day were absolutely contagious. It’s incredible to work for an organization that goes above and beyond to create meaningful,uplifting experiences.
