My first sourdough 💪🏼 note to self: homemade bread is so much more satiating and delicious than store bought. Store bought bread is like eating air and it’s oddly addicting. Proceed accordingly.

P.S. Shout out to my mother in law who urged me to try again after my starter hit a dead end on day 7. ☠️ 😬 And sourcing a new starter for me!

How do you know when you’ve had enough? 🧐

More importantly, do you honor it?

Both of these skills:
(1) knowing when enough is enough
and
(2) honoring that unique set point for yourself are core pillars for living a life in integrity with your true self.

But, it they can be tricky skills to master for those of us who strive for excellence.

Overeating, overworking, overthinking, over-responsibility, overdrinking… are just a few of the ways our inherent desire to be the best can work against us - and even come at a high cost where health issues arise, addictive patterns take hold, relationships become toxic and burnout becomes real.

Instead, tune inward. Listen for that little voice within. Learn to trust her. And everything will turn into rainbows and butterflies.

Just kidding. It won’t.

But you’ll be a heck of a lot happier and more at peace in your life and within yourself. And that’s pretty close to rainbows and butterflies if you ask me. 🤭🌈🦋

One of the highlights of my summer has been receiving Flower CSA! I have treasured each and every bouquet. I have delighted in the process of arranging them. And even been surprised that just as one bouquet passes on, it’s time to pick up the next!

I also really love that I’m supporting my neighborhood flower farm and that these beauties grow around the corner from me. Elise, thank you so much for providing this! My heart is SO happy. I already signed up for the fall share LOL

I 💗 ballet. I can confidently say I’m still dancing as a result of healing my relationship with food and my body. 🌈✨

There was SO much to heal, so much to untangle, so many physical, mental, emotional habits to change… but I did it.

And from the process, I found my true essential self… where a part of me loves to dance ballet. ☺️

The food-body healing journey was challenging and messy at times, but it continues-- to this day!—to pay off in spades. Ballet, to me, is one of those gifts I will never take for granted. 💗🌈✨
