NEW! Functional Flow with Alan on Tuesday Nights 🙌🏼
We’re excited to share that Alan is now teaching Functional Flow every Tuesday evening from 6:30–7:30pm.
If you haven't tried Functional Flow yet, it feels like a cohesive, familiar yoga class—beginning with Surya Namaskar to warm the body and ending with a grounding cool-down to support relaxation and recovery. What sets this class apart is the intentional integration functional movement and strength components woven seamlessly into the flow.
These functional movements are designed to:
⭐️ Improve squat patterns for lower-body strength and stability
⭐️ Reinforce hinge patterns to protect the low back and build posterior-chain strength
⭐️ Build hamstring strength, particularly around the tendon attachments commonly stressed in yoga
⭐️ Strengthen the hip flexors to reduce tightness and support healthy mobility
⭐️ Develop isometric joint strength to enhance stability and help prevent injury.
Traditional yoga repetition can sometimes leave certain areas under-supported.
Functional Flow was created to fill in those gaps—helping you build strength where it’s needed most while improving mobility for a more resilient, balanced body.
