Celebrating Three Years of Authentic Care at Wisteria

In 2023, we launched Wisteria with a clear mission: to provide a safe, affirming, and expert space for the LGBTQ community. Today, we are incredibly proud to share that we have provided gender-affirming care to over 1,000 individuals on their journey toward living authentically. 🌈

While our roots began with Malvern Behavioral Health, Wisteria was created to ensure that specialized, compassionate healthcare is accessible to those who need it most.

We want to send a heartfelt thank you to our incredible team for their dedication, and to our patients for trusting us with your care. Here’s to many more years of pride, healing, and community.

February is all about love and kindness! ❤️❤️And we were feeling the love today at Malvern Behavioral Health!
Today, we expressed our love for our staff with delicious treats and 🍭🍭Candy Grams- Our staff shared the joy by filling out a Candy Gram card for any staff member at MBH. These were positive/encouraging notes to staff members to acknowledge their hard work and dedication to the Malvern community. 🙏🙏All Candy Grams were distributed today with a Lollipop to enjoy.

Malvern was proud to be a major sponsor of this weekend’s SL24 Basketball Classic. The SL24 Basketball Classic was established in memory of Sean Locke, a 2012 St. Mark’s High School graduate, 2016 University of Delaware graduate, and former Division I basketball player who lost his battle with depression in July 2018. The event is rooted in providing information, outlets, and resources to youth in the Delaware community. Since opening, there have been over 37,000 guests to Sean's House; and 198 young people have been saved while in a mental health crisis!

The funds benefit the SL24: UnLocke the Light, which helps educate, assist, and support those battling depression and suicidal ideation. The funds will also allow SL24 to continue providing valuable services and programs at Sean’s House and Sean’s Rooms across Delaware.
$710,000 was raised this weekend- what an amazing accomplishment!!
We will continue to stand alongside you in this fight and help carry this light forward with you. We will keep the light shining bright for our youth who are struggling with their mental health! 💡💡❤️❤️🙏🙏
