Last Friday, a dedicated group of residents gathered to care for the palms in preparation for Palm Sunday. This annual tradition was marked by the participation of many repeat volunteers, along with a few new faces. Society Hall was filled with laughter, music, and the delightful aroma of homemade muffins, generously made by one of our chapel ushers. Thank you all for being the heart of our campus.❤️

This week, Simpson House experienced significant excitement as our Garden Connection Committee hosted the 1st Annual Florabundance Flower and Art Show, alongside our Farmers Market organized by dining services. This two-day community event highlighted the diverse talents of our seniors. Exhibits featured live plants, such as a 60-year-old aloe and a 7-foot-tall corn plant, hand-painted canvases and rocks, terrariums, a floral slideshow, and other flower-related items. Residents appreciated the smiles and positive feedback from attendees.
