💚 March is Brain Injury Awareness Month—and at Perfect Love & Care, we see the quiet courage every day. Our caregivers are extra eyes and ears at home, and that makes a real difference.
A few signs we gently watch for and always flag to families:
• Falls or bumps followed by new confusion, slurred speech, or worsening headaches
• “Mini strokes” (TIAs): sudden face droop, vision changes, or arm weakness that passes but still needs urgent follow-up
• Bleeds after a fall on blood thinners: increasing drowsiness, nausea, or unequal pupils
• Concussion red flags: repeated vomiting, can’t recognize people, or unusual agitation
• Changes in memory, balance, or mood that aren’t baseline
We document, we report, we stay by your side. Because care is safer when someone’s paying close attention.
