The PCRC hosted this year’s ‘PanCAN Leadership Breakfast’ including our very own Bob Vonderheide as one of the honorary co-chairs. This special event brings together clinicians, researchers, survivors, and patient advocates from the Philadelphia area in preparation for Purplestride – the walk to end pancreatic cancer. The leadership breakfast is an opportunity to demonstrate Philadelphia’s rich history in pancreatic cancer research and clinical care and recognize the improvements in patient outcomes resulting from medical science. A wonderful and inspiring morning!

A Love for Life is having its big Shamrock Shuffle 5K this Saturday!!! Looking forward to some great weather and an inspiring group event to support pancreatic cancer research - needed now more than ever.

This Shamrock Shuffle offers more than your typical 5K. Once you finish running through historic Newtown, we invite you to keep the party going! With your registration you receive awesome swag and an all-access wristband which allows you entry into the Green Parrot St. Patrick%27s Day party.

2023 has been a stellar year for A Love for Life.
We have been incredibly lucky to be surrounded by so many sponsors, donors, volunteers and our amazingly supportive community. Thanks to all of you, we have been able to donate $100,000 again this year to our dedicated team of researchers. We strive to improve outcomes for pancreatic cancer patients in honor of those we love and those we have lost and it brings us great joy to share our mission and success with you-
