For over 60 years, Covenant House, Inc. has been providing the community with a variety of health services. They hosted a Juneteenth Wellness Event at their E. Bringhurst St. location for the community to honor the ongoing struggle for rights and liberties. Guests were provided with employment and housing assistance, addiction counseling, health insurance consulting and Always Best Care provided Home Care information. This was the first outreach event for Always Best Care Philly's two brand new Community Outreach Coordinators, Eliza El and Trudinna Northeran, and they jumped right into the action. There was lots of food for all, along with giveaways, music and more! The new Always Best Care Jenga game provided lots of fun for the kids. The winner of the Ninja blender donated by Always Best Care was Willtette Reid!

The Philadelphia chapter of Disability Pride Pennsylvania put on its annual "rain or shine" festival on to honor the strength and resilience of the local disability community and its remarkable history. This year recognizes the 35th anniversary of the ADA (Americans with Disabilities) Act! On the evening of Thursday, June 12th, the Alzheimer's Association Delaware Valley Chapter held its annual Party in Purple at the Please Touch Museum in Philadelphia. In attendance were several members of Always Best Care Team Greene, representing the Philly and Wilmington, DE offices. They were all proudly "purpled out" in their glamorous garb to support the remarkable efforts and financial contributions made by Always Best Care Owner Bryant Greene and the ABC Philadelphia and Delaware teams.

On Friday, June 6th, the (Department of Behavioral Health and Intellectual Disabilities Services) sponsored a community cookout and resource event, which was hosted by Covenant House, Inc. at their Stenton Ave. location. Grilled hot dogs and veggie dogs were served along with cold drinks and snacks.
