Some Help-U-Bridge folks participated in the Notes of Sunshine Project through Philabundance, by making greeting cards for seniors.
Philabundance offers this remote volunteering opportunity to "support local seniors that are facing food insecurity". Volunteers "create positive, encouraging greeting cards to be placed in the 3,000 Senior Boxes" that are distributed each month. "These Notes of Sunshine offer a reminder that we are all members of the same community and provide a touch of humanity that is as important to this work as the food itself."

Thank you to our Building Bridges for Life Bowling League for their donations to our Fall Food Drive. A full trunk of canned and boxed meals along with 2 frozen turkeys were donated to Murphy's Giving Market in Upper Darby.

Our next Building Bridges for Life Adaptive Bowling League is open for registration! League STARTS 10/28. This adult adaptive bowling league is located in East Norriton PA, individuals from all of the surrounding cities attend. More information and registration is through the below links. Our league is organized and facilitated by a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist focusing on building social connections alongside bowling.

Staff Highlight! Gabby joined the Help-U-Bridge team Spring of this year. Gabby has been a wonderful addition to our team! She is a CTRS (Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist through National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification) with a Bachelors degree in Recreational Therapy from Temple University. Gabby provides individualized in-home and community supports as well as individual Recreational Therapy services. Welcome to the team Gabby!

She is a CTRS (Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist through National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification) with a Bachelors degree in Recreational Therapy from Temple University. Madi is our Recreational Therapy Supervisor and also provides individualized in-home and community supports as well as individual Recreational Therapy services. Welcome to the team Madi!
