As children, the world around is is vast, and there is always something new to take in, fostering our sense of and on a daily basis. Though, as we get a bit older, this gradually begins to fade for no good reason, except that the busyness of life catches up to us. 🏃🌪️

But what if we made the decision to cultivate this exploratory pursuit, where getting lost into the curves of a tree and the bright colors of the bird perched on its branches take us out of the Busy and into Awe? 🌳🐦

It's that feeling that you can't quite put into words; it's something extra still, extra special. 🌅

Take a look around and find the transcendent vastness just outside your door. 🗺️

Having high expectations generally seems innocent enough, but oftentimes it blindsides us with disappointment before we even have a chance to really test out the waters. 🌊

Sometimes wading in the drifting tide is exactly what we need -- where our lies -- but we seek the tidal waves that submerge us instead of triumphantly elevating us to shore. ⛱️🐚

When we try too hard with the big things, we miss the little things. Prioritize what you know brings a sense of to your days instead waiting to ride the wave of bliss that never comes. 🏄

Even though the past couple of years of the pandemic has caused everyone to slow down, there is still often movement and distractions happening within the pauses. Whether it's constant consumption (social media, news, podcasts, books/articles) or the need to have some sort of output (creating, working, planning), what seems like idle time is actually being filled with the need to feel productive. ✍🏽📚⏩
