Helping people feel better is my greatest joy. ✨🤍

When this patient came to me he literally couldn't sit without pain for almost a year! He tried it all. Nothing helped.

After only a couple treatments he was sitting more comfortably. After completing his treatment plan he is now completely PAIN FREE!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Afraid of needles?! That's ok! We tailor each treatment to fit the patient's tolerance and sensitivity level.

We also offer our patients a buzzer just in case they get uncomfortable while resting on the table. 🤍

We are so excited to announce that Amy Iannuzzi, MSAC, L.AC is joining our team at Renew Acupuncture!

Amy has a passion for treating women's health, fertility, PCOS, postpartum health, anxiety, stress, mental health, gastrointestinal disorders and pain.

Amy discovered her love of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine in massage school. She sought out Chinese Medicine for her own health struggles. She was able to see first hand how acupuncture could change lives and it quickly grew to be her passion, which brought her to Chinese Medicine school at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in NY. There she studied Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture for four years, where she learned multiple modalities such as Acupuncture, Cupping, Moxibustion Therapy and Gua Sha. She uses all of these modalities to give each patient an individualized treatment plan that best fits their healing journey. She strives for a full holistic approach to health that includes life style changes to ensure her patients success. Amy prides herself on giving patients an atmosphere that feels comfortable and safe.

Amy is a licensed acupuncturist and will be training with Brittany the next couple of weeks. She will start seeing patients in Sept.

Welcome, Amy! 😁✨

"Studies suggest that acupuncture can influence neuroplasticity through its effects on the brain’s limbic system, prefrontal cortex, and autonomic nervous system. Research has shown that acupuncture stimulates the release of endogenous opioids and modulates the activity of neurotransmitters such as serotonin and dopamine. These changes can enhance emotional regulation and reduce stress responses, which are often dysregulated in PTSD. Moreover, acupuncture has been shown to promote the growth of new synapses and improve the brain’s ability to recover from trauma."

In the past decade, the awareness of trauma and posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and their impact on mental health, has increased enormously. In my own coursework for my Psychedelic-Assisted Therapies (PAT) certificate, for example, trauma-aware and trauma-informed approaches are heavily emphas...
