We love it when a community comes together. On Thursday of last week, Joe from our Business Development team joined other Lehigh Valley and surrounding area providers for a free community Resource Fair at the Allentown Public Library, which was organized by Brandy of Recovery Cove.

Events like this are vital in connecting individuals and families to accessible resources, breaking down barriers to care, and strengthening support within our community.

In honor of Autism Awareness Month, we would like to highlight our STAR Program at Belmont. Pictured on the left next to Lisa, our Business Development Representative, is Daniela, one of our Clinical Case Managers for the STAR Program.

Our STAR Program (Specialized Treatment for Autism and Related Disorders) provides short-term inpatient care for children ages 5–12, focused on stabilization and a safe return to the community. Each child receives individualized treatment from a multidisciplinary team at our hospital, including a child and adolescent psychiatrist and allied health professionals. Our goal is to build skills for everyday success. If you'd like to learn more, click the link below.

Stress affects more than your mood. It impacts your entire body. When stress becomes ongoing, it can contribute to physical symptoms like headaches, stomach issues, and increased blood pressure, while also affecting your emotional well-being.

Healthy coping strategies like exercise, quality sleep, and connecting with others can help reduce its impact. This month and every month, take time to understand your stress and take steps to care for yourself. https://ow.ly/BKY650YBMwf
