In light of the Spring Equinox, a moment of balance, transition, and new beginnings, this 75-minute rolling workshop invites you to clear out stagnation and make space for renewal in the body.

Roll Into Renewal: Spring Equinox Self-Massage & Myofascial Release with
🗓️ Sunday, March 22, 1-2:25 pm

Using Yoga Tune Up® massage balls and principles inspired by the Roll Model Method, we’ll explore self-massage as both an informative and restorative practice. Through guided rolling, mindful pressure, and simple, accessible movement, you’ll soften tension, improve mobility, and develop a more informed, responsive relationship with your tissues.

We will explore how fascia responds to load, hydration, and attention. This approach helps reduce chronic holding patterns, restore ease to commonly tight or overworked areas, and support nervous system regulation. You’ll learn how to work with sensation rather than against it, cultivating curiosity, agency, insight, and discernment as you roll.

This practice supports tension release, tissue recovery, nervous system regulation, and overall restoration, and is equally beneficial for athletes, yoga practitioners, and anyone feeling stiff, sore, or stressed.

All levels welcome, No prior experience with rolling required. Register via 🔗 in bio!

Meet Lee!!

How did you get into yoga?
✨ I got into yoga in 2017 through a trainer who unbeknownst to me was a yogi! I studied and practiced with him most mornings at sunrise for a couple years. This solidified my love for yoga and it has been a huge part of my wellness journey ever since and will always be a large part of me.

What’s been one of the most gratifying moments of your yoga journey?
✨I love yoga retreats! It has become my favorite way to travel, I have been on six so far (and counting). It is a perfect way to experience a part of our beautiful world, continue on the path of self discovery and physical alignment, and bond in new settings, doing fun things with others — building community.

What is your favorite yoga pose?
✨ My favorite yoga poses are Warrior II and Upward Facing Dog

What can students expect from your classes?
✨My class is an accessible, all-level flow with moderate pacing. We build strength through some stillness, but also build a heat that releases tension. Intentional and uplifting music accompanies the flow and at times there is a theme focused on self-motivation, mental clarity, and self discovery.

What can we find you doing outside of the yoga studio? ✨I’m the Assistant Director of Advancement at Cristo Rey Philadelphia, a private Catholic school for students of all faiths. Professionally I am most passionate about education and equity. I grew up in the Chicago area, but have been in Philadelphia since 2015 — so I am a big Philadelphia sports fan who still has some Chicago team allegiances. In my spare time I enjoy travel (especially yoga retreats!), writing (currently working on my first book), dancing, karaoke and adventuring with my hyperactive dog, a basenji named Iverson.

Going Inward 🗓️ Friday, March 6, 6:30 pm

We’ll be using a subtle yet profound practice of conscious, connected breathing guided by the psyche, not intensity. This gentle parasympathetic breath support nervous system rewiring and deep healing on a mental, physical and spiritual level.

The breathwork will be accompanied by a soothing and comforting sound healing as a relaxation tool to help melt away the surface level distractions and invite the nervous system to settle into deeper, clarity, communication with the psyche and restoration of the body. The immersive sound allows vibrations to pe*****te the body to find rest, harmony and balance from the inside out.

🧘 These two practices together clear the path to create renewal of Self and openings in the subconscious. This evening is a journey back Home.
