If you heard it was going to be 97° in Sellersville, PA, today, you heard right... talk about the "Dog Days of Summer!" 🥵 Luckily, our 𝐿𝑖𝑣𝑒𝑊𝑒𝑙𝑙 program has Rockhill residents keeping cool indoors while still breaking a sweat. Olivia’s usual 9:30 AM chair fitness class this morning featured 7 y.o. yellow lab Nala as a special guest. Nala was as active with her treat ball as the ladies were! 🐶

So, today we’re sharing a recent roundup of native bird species caught on our smart-technology Rockhill campus cam (and feeder)! 🐦 Our resident Birdwatchers’ Club meets weekly on Mondays to screen the recordings with our Life Enrichment team. 𝑫𝒊𝒅 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒌𝒏𝒐𝒘… as a faith-based non-profit, Grace Inspired Living offers an enrichment series called “Exploration of Faith: Following Jesus in Community.” During these lifelong learning courses, residents are invited to educate themselves about the ins and outs of a specific religious denomination. Our most recent seminar at Rockhill examined Anabaptist theology with Rev. Dr. Josh Meyer, who not only holds a doctoral degree but also draws on 17 years of pastoral experience. Others have focused on Buddhism, Protestant, a general study of Christian churches in Southeastern PA and even famous pastors throughout history.

Whether curious, skeptical or simply seeking a deeper understanding, each conversation both highlights the differences and honors common ground!

We have a very special Art Gallery Opening on campus tomorrow, featuring not one but TWO local artists! Tom Armstrong, an ink & pen illustrator is also a Rockhill resident. In addition, we are honored to exhibit artist Cathy Weitz at The Gallery for the very first time in her career as a unique altered paper artist (samples below)! We hope you will stop by this weekend for the reception or pay us a visit over the next few months to support them.

Our special culinary event at Hilltop Harvest yesterday had residents buzzing for a Brazilian Steakhouse Dinner 🇧🇷🥩 Mouth-watering meats were served tableside, carved-to-order, along with a cold bar & buffet of sides. To top it all off—a classic Brazilian Pavê for dessert. ¡𝗠𝘂𝘆 𝘀𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗼𝘀𝗮!

We are thrilled to announce the latest Fitness & Wellness endeavor at Grace Inspired Living communities! 𝐿𝑖𝑣𝑒𝑊𝑒𝑙𝑙's Adventure Club kicked off last Monday with Horseback Riding. 🏇🏻 In this program, residents train for a specific sport during on-site fitness classes 4x per year, then decide if they want take the extra leap (pun intended)! The male resident of Rockhill who attended can be seen here riding a horse for the very first time—at 94 years young.

Future possibilities for both new and returning residents may include kayaking, indoor skydiving, rock climbing, and more!

Happy Independence Day to all! On Wednesday afternoon, we were grateful to have Meredith Beck perform a patriotic concert for our community. 🇺🇸 Meredith is a Philadelphia-based theatre artist & concert singer who most recently starred as Ann Margret in 𝐸𝑙𝑣𝑖𝑠: 𝐴 𝑀𝑢𝑠𝑖𝑐𝑎𝑙 𝑅𝑒𝑣𝑜𝑙𝑢𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛 at the Walnut Street Theatre.
